On Sunday, March 1, 2026, the brotherhood of The Knight Ryders set out for a memorable ride to Chandragiri Fort — a destination that blends history, open highways, and peaceful surroundings.

🕔 The Start – Motel Highway, Poonamallee

The day began before sunrise.

  • 5:15 AM – All riders assembled at Motel Highway, Poonamallee.
  • Full riding jackets. Helmets secured.
  • Greetings, smiles, and the sound of engines warming up.

At 5:30 AM sharp, we rolled out.

Before departure, our Captain gave a detailed safety briefing, covering:

  • Group riding formation
  • Hand signals
  • Overtaking discipline
  • Speed consistency
  • Responsibility towards fellow riders

Safety is not a rule for us. It is culture.

☕ Tea Break – 6:45 AM

After one hour of steady riding, we took our usual tea break around 6:45 AM.

This is a practice we follow on long rides:

  • Stretch
  • Hydrate
  • Re-align formation
  • Avoid fatigue

Short pause. Strong tea. Stronger bonding.

🍽 Breakfast – Tirupati

We stopped at A2B – Tirupati for breakfast.

Good food, relaxed conversations, and reflections on the smooth morning ride.

From there, Chandragiri Fort is just 16 km away.

📍 Reaching Chandragiri Fort

While riding from Tirupati, there is a clear highway signage to take a right turn toward Chandragiri.

  • We took the right turn
  • Reached the fort in about 10 minutes

The entrance itself feels royal. The fort premises are spacious and calm, offering:

  • Ample shaded areas to rest
  • Open courtyards
  • Historic architecture
  • Great spots for photographs

Spending time inside the compound with our brothers was a different experience.
No rush. No noise. Just presence.

We rested well, refreshed, and soaked in the atmosphere.

🕐 Return Ride – 1:00 PM

After enough rest and refreshments, we started our return around 1:00 PM.

The ride back was smooth and disciplined, maintaining formation and communication throughout.

🍛 Lunch Stop – Tiruvalur

By around 2:30 PM, we reached Thoppi Vappa Biriyani for lunch.

Good biriyani. Great conversations. Shared laughter.

From there, we dispersed and headed home.

By 5:00 PM, everyone had reached safely.
